The Emily Test
Conference commends the exemplary work done by Emily Test and recognises their immense effort in supporting students affected by gender-based violence. Conference recognises that too often young people are the victims of gender-based violence and is committed to ending this.
Conference recognises the success of Emily Tests in their pink card project which has seen more than 100,000 cards distributed to every college and university in Scotland detailing specialist services so that staff can effectively deal with disclosures of gender-based violence.
Conference calls for the national rollout of the Emily Test pink card scheme to include all Scottish frontline emergency service staff and all staff working in education after the appropriate pilot schemes are completed.
